Royal Freemasons, a highly regarded Not-for-Profit Aged Care provider, is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Coordinator to champion workplace safety and positive return-to-work outcomes. The opportunity This permanent, part-time (0.5 EFT) position offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your injury management expertise while contributing to the wellbeing of our dedicated workforce. You’ll play a vital role managing occupational health, rehabilitation, and Workcover processes—ensuring efficient, safe, and sustainable returns to work while minimising organisational risk and premium impact
Key Responsibilities Injury & Rehabilitation Management: Coordinate rehabilitation plans that facilitate a safe and timely return to pre-injury duties and hours, collaborating with injured workers, managers, medical practitioners, and WorkSafe representatives. Workcover Claims: Manage the end-to-end administration of Workcover claims, maintain accurate documentation, and build effective partnerships with our claims management provider. Proactive Safety & Wellbeing: Implement early intervention strategies and proactive support to keep staff safe at work, uphold OHS legislation, and promote a strong safety culture across all sites. Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepare timely reports on claim trends, premium performance, and safety outcomes to inform management decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. About You You will have: - Demonstrated experience in occupational rehabilitation, injury management, or Workcover claims coordination (ideally within aged care, healthcare, or similar environments)
- Strong knowledge of Workcover, OHS legislation, and injury management frameworks
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and reporting capability with attention to detail
- A passion for improving workplace wellbeing and supporting positive outcomes for staff

Key Requirements - It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
