New and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional to join our People and Development team.

 

As the Payroll  and Workforce Planning Officer you will provide high level support to the People and Development Team across end-to-end payroll processing and administration and the HR Lifecycle.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Assist a small payroll team in the preparation of the fortnightly payroll for over 1,000 employees ensuring timely and accurate end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Supporting the pay processing by checking and providing guidance to Managers in relation to submission of timesheets and pay queries.
  • Deliver various payroll administrative tasks, manage processes, respond to queries, advise on policy, and produce reports in line with standards and timeframes.
  • Management of employee life cycle records including employee data, pre-boarding, recruitment, onboarding, leave applications, payroll and HR records.
  • Review and process employee entitlements and applications for including but not limited to personal leave, parental leave, long service leave and leave without pay.

 

What will you bring to the role

  • 2+ years’ experience in payroll and or HR (Ideally in Aged Care or Health but not essential)
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
  • A commitment to high-quality customer service, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities.
