Key requirements:  

• Ensure consumers are offered choice which is encouraged to promote their independence. 
• Ensure all consumers, their families and staff are treated with respect and dignity. 
• Complete assessments, documentation and care planning 
• Accurately dispense prescribed medications 
• Conduct wound assessments, dressing and notify Clinical Care team for reviews. 
• Appropriately consult with physicians and refer consumers to Allied Health professionals. 
• Complete assigned personal hygiene and direct resident care  
• Meeting required Aged Care Quality Standards, compliance with all policies and procedures.  
• Guide and manage staff to deliver a leading aged care service that enhances the consumer’ experience. 
• Tertiary qualification 
• Current AHPRA Registration

Royal Freemasons is a NDIS-approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labor hire and volunteers must complete a NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an  International Police Check  for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years. 

  
Mandatory vaccines  

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged to receive the flu vaccine. All successful applicants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
