We are seekingPersonal Care Assistants with at least 6 months experience and most importantly have warm, engaging personalities and a passion to work with older people. We are looking for candidates who have excellent attention to detail, are honest, reliable, and possess a positive/flexible attitude. 

   

About You: 

  

Excellent opportunities exist for committed and experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our successful and motivated team.  

   

Personal Care Assistants are responsible for providing a high standard of direct care to residents in the residential aged care setting, including the administration of medications as delegated, and to complete documentation as necessary.  

   

The Personal Care Assistants will also be involved in the preparation and service of meals to residents, cleaning of resident’s rooms, and providing high quality laundry services. You must be willing to pick up additional shifts in these areas as required.  

   

We will have flexible availability to fill in shifts as required. You should be highly organized and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time and be flexible with their workloads. If you have proven experience within a residential aged care setting or hospital environment providing care to the elderly, we offer a wonderful team to work with and a supportive working environment.  

   

Experience & Skills:  

  • Demonstrated reliability and passion for aged care.  
  • Aged Care Certificate III or IV qualification  
  • Be customer focused with a passion for working in Aged Care 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Manual Handling and safe lifting practices 

  

As part of your application, you will be asked to complete pre-employment checks.  

   

NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)  
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS-approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must complete a NDIS check.   

   
Mandatory vaccines 

All aged care workers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and encouraged to receive the flu vaccine. All successful applicants must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
