The opportunity Royal Freemasons is seeking experienced and motivated Cooks to join our Coppin Centre team on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You’ll work as part of a dedicated hospitality team to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience — supporting the health and wellbeing of those in our care. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with menu plans, dietary guidelines, and individual resident requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with the Food Safety Program.
- Oversee and support Food Services Assistants during meal preparation and service.
- Ensure kitchen equipment and storage areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition.
- Contribute to a positive dining experience by promoting warmth, respect, and quality
About You - Relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a Cook (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded).
- Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Requirements - It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
- All Aged Care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
