About the Role

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a diverse and high-quality lifestyle program that supports the emotional, social, cultural, and physical wellbeing of our residents. This includes:

• Planning monthly activity calendars tailored to resident interests, abilities, and needs

• Coordinating group and individual activities that promote independence, engagement, and choice

• Leading and mentoring Lifestyle team members and volunteers

• Collaborating with clinical, care, catering, and allied health teams to ensure holistic resident support

• Building community partnerships to enhance resident experiences (e.g. entertainers, schools, volunteer groups)

• Ensuring activities align with the Aged Care Quality Standards and Royal Freemasons’ values

• Supporting residents living with dementia using best-practice engagement strategies

• Maintaining accurate documentation, assessments, and progress notes

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Experience in planning and delivering lifestyle, activities, or leisure programs within aged care or community services

• A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing their quality of life

• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills

• Creativity, initiative, and the ability to adjust programs to individual needs

• Empathy, patience, and a person-centred approach

• Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and stakeholders

• Relevant qualifications in Lifestyle & Leisure, Diversional Therapy, Allied Health Assistance or similar (highly regarded)

• Competency using technology for documentation and calendar planning

• Fluent in Vietnamese / Chinese (highly desirable)
