About the Opportunity 

Royal Freemasons is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our team 4 days per week at our Residential Aged Care facility in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

In this hands‑on role, you’ll help ensure our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable and well‑maintained home. You’ll carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, working both independently and alongside a supportive team.

This position is ideal for someone with broad maintenance experience, strong problem‑solving abilities, and excellent organisational skills. Confidence using computers and familiarity with CMMS or asset management systems will be highly regarded.

What You will Bring

• Trade qualification and/or extensive maintenance experience
• Experience in general maintenance and grounds work (aged care experience preferred)
• Practical skills across carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general repairs
• Strong ability to plan, organise and prioritise competing tasks
• Solid computer literacy; CMMS/asset management experience valued
• Experience coordinating contractors and service providers
• Understanding of scheduled maintenance programs
• Current full Victorian driver’s licence

Additional Requirements

This role requires a valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. All aged care workers are encouraged to maintain up‑to‑date COVID‑19 (3 doses) and influenza vaccinations.
