About the Role Coppin Centre is seeking dedicated and empathetic Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our residential aged care team in Melbourne. We are currently recruiting for afternoon shifts, with consistent part‑time opportunities available for the right candidates.
As a PCA, you will play a central role in supporting residents’ comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. You’ll work within a collaborative, supportive team to deliver high‑quality personal and clinical care tailored to each resident’s individual needs. Key Responsibilities - Personal care support — Provide daily living assistance aligned with resident care plans
- Mobility and hygiene assistance — Support residents with movement, meals, personal hygiene, and activities
- Relationship building — Build warm, respectful connections with residents, families, and colleagues
- Safety and infection control — Maintain a safe, clean environment by following established procedures
- Accurate documentation — Complete timely and precise care records
- Team collaboration — Work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team
What You’ll Bring - Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Experience in aged care or health services (preferred)
- A compassionate, patient, resident‑focused approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of person‑centred care and dignity of risk
- Availability for afternoon shifts, including weekends
