Team Leader Registered Nurse (Grade 3)- Centennial Lodge

About the Role

 

Royal Freemasons is seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses Grade 3 Team Leaders to join the dedicated team at Centennial Lodge.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical leader who is committed to delivering exceptional person-centred care while providing guidance, support, and mentorship to a multidisciplinary team.

 

In this role, you will lead by example, support staff development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care that enhances the wellbeing of our residents. 

 

We are looking for Registered Nurse Grade 3 Team Leaders who can commit to a minimum of three shifts per fortnight from the roster below:

 

Week 1

  • Monday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Monday: 2:45pm - 10:00pm
  • Tuesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Friday: 2:45pm - 10:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Sunday: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Week 2

  • Monday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Monday: 2:45pm - 10:00pm
  • Tuesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Wednesday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Wednesday: 2:45pm - 10:00pm
  • Thursday: 7:00am - 3:00pm
  • Friday: 2:45pm - 10:00pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the clinical and care team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Coordinate care delivery, clinical assessments, care planning, and AN-ACC documentation.
  • Administer medications and oversee wound management in line with best practice standards.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, medical practitioners, and allied health professionals to achieve positive care outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and effective resource management.
  • Foster a positive team culture through coaching, mentoring, and open communication.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous leadership experience within aged care or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Strong clinical assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.
  • Sound knowledge of aged care standards, clinical governance, and relevant legislation.

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Valid Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
