Personal Care Assistants- Centennial Lodge

The Opportunity

 

Royal Freemasons is seeking compassionate and dedicated Casual Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team at Centennial Lodge.

 

As a Casual PCA, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents' comfort, dignity, and wellbeing while enjoying the flexibility of casual employment. Working within a supportive and professional team, you'll deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to each resident's individual needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents.

  • Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meals.

  • Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records.

  • Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism.

  • Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents, and hazards.

  • Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S, and infection control

  • practices.

  • Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes.

  • Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement activities.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.

  • Experience in aged care or health services (preferred).

  • A compassionate, patient, and resident‑focused approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Understanding of person‑centred care and dignity of risk.

  • Ability to work both morning and afternoon shifts .

Key Requirements

  • Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

  • Covid‑19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu Vaccine encouraged.
