Team Leader Registered Nurse- Springtime

The Opportunity

 

Royal Freemasons Springtime Residential Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Leader Registered Nurse to join our clinical care team on a 9-month fixed-term parental leave contract commencing 1 October 2026. 

 

In this rewarding leadership role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents while providing guidance, support, and clinical leadership to our dedicated care team. You will help foster a positive care environment that promotes resident wellbeing, dignity, and the highest standards of clinical practice.

 

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is available to work the following roster: Thursday to Sunday 07:00- 15:15pm on a fortnightly roster. 

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Lead and coordinate staff to deliver safe, high-quality resident care.
  • Complete AN-ACC assessments, care plans, and documentation.
  • Administer medications and provide direct resident care.
  • Manage wound care, assessments, and reviews.
  • Liaise with GPs and allied health professionals.
  • Support, mentor, and manage team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S, and organisational policies.
  • Monitor clinical resources and costs effectively.
  • Promote clear, professional communication with residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and positive resident outcomes.

Who You Are: 

  • Demonstrated experience in wound management, dementia care, and palliative care.
  • Previous team leadership experience within an aged care setting is highly regarded.
  • Minimum three years' experience as a Registered Nurse in aged care.
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve excellent resident outcomes.
  • Customer-focused with a strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Current  APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check 
  • Vaccinated against Covid and Flu highly encouraged
