The Opportunity Royal Freemasons is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our team at Mount Martha Valley Residential Aged Care. In this rewarding role, you will play an integral part in supporting the health, wellbeing, and quality of life of our residents. Working alongside a supportive and experienced care team, you will deliver high-quality, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence and meaningful engagement. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meals. Complete accurate care documentation and clinical records. Support residents and families with compassion and professionalism. Monitor and report changes in resident wellbeing, incidents, and hazards. Maintain compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S, and infection control practices. Work collaboratively with the care team to achieve positive resident outcomes. Participate in mandatory training and continuous quality improvement activities.
Skills and Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as Personal Care Assistant in Aged Care - Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
A compassionate, patient, and resident‑focused approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of person‑centred care and dignity of risk. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including minimum 2 day week shifts.
