The Opportunity You will deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents, overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations — including menu planning, food quality, staff leadership, hygiene standards and budgeting. Your regular working hours will be between 9:00 and 17:00, providing consistency and balance in your day. Your leadership will ensure our residents enjoy nutritious, beautifully prepared meals in a warm, welcoming and well‑managed environment. Your responsibilities: - Leading and mentoring Cooks and Kitchen Assistants
- Managing rosters, budgets and daily kitchen operations
- Overseeing menu reviews and nutritional standards
- Maintaining excellent hygiene, safety and compliance
- Creating a positive, respectful and collaborative team culture
Who We are Looking For: - Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
- Experience in Aged Care or similar environment (ideal)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to problem‑solve and maintain high quality standards
- Warm, professional manner and genuine respect for older people
- Possesses strong communication skills in Chinese and or Vietnamese
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & COVID‑19 vaccination
- Understanding of Traditional Asian Meals — Ability to plan and prepare authentic traditional Asian dishes that meet cultural expectations, dietary needs and aged‑care nutrition standards
