The Opportunity 

As a Cook in our residential aged‑care community, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, nutritious, high‑quality meals that support the wellbeing and preferences of our residents.

Your Responsibilities

• Meal preparation — creating fresh, nutritious meals tailored to individual needs
• Food handling & storage — maintaining strict safety and compliance
• Food ordering — managing stock levels and supplier orders
• Chemical management — safe use and storage of kitchen chemicals
• Team collaboration — contributing to a supportive, positive kitchen culture
• Customer service — respectful, warm interactions with residents and staff
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
• Awareness of dementia‑inclusive meal service

Who We’re Looking For

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Cookery
• Food Handling Certificate
• Ideally 6+ months experience in aged care or health environme

Key Requirements

• Valid Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• COVID‑19 vaccination (3 doses)
• Flu vaccination encouraged
