The Opportunity

Footscray Residential Aged Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) to join our supportive clinical team on a casual basis.

Working alongside experienced Registered Nurses and care professionals, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence, comfort, and wellbeing for our residents.

Your Role

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will:

• Deliver resident-focused care under the direction and supervision of Registered Nurses.
• Administer medications in accordance with scope of practice and organisational policies.
• Assist with clinical assessments and monitor residents' health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of individualised care plans.
• Support residents with complex care needs, including dementia and palliative care requirements.
• Promote best-practice clinical care and resident wellbeing.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure care delivery aligns with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational policies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN).
• Experience in Residential Aged Care, including high-care and dementia support.
• Knowledge of clinical assessments, care planning, and documentation.
• Experience in wound care management and medication administration.
• Understanding of dementia care and behaviour support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality care.
• A commitment to delivering person-centred and culturally sensitive care.

Bilingual candidates with Vietnamese or Chinese language skills are encouraged to apply. 

Mandatory Requirements

• Successful applicants will be required to provide:
• Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or National Police Check.
• Evidence of vaccinations in accordance with current aged care and organisational requirements.
